The United Nation’s (UN’s) International Day of Persons with Disabilities will take place on 3 December. The main aims of the Day are to promote understanding of disability issues and to champion the rights of persons with disabilities.
The theme this year is “Making the Millennium Development Goals Inclusive: Empowerment of persons with disabilities and their communities around the world”.
